Event Details

Venue: Lyon University Center (Click here for position on the USC Map)
Time: 6:30 pm onwards

Description: Enjoy a night of dancing to traditional Garba music with some Bollywood beats thrown in at the end. Come dressed in your best traditional attire and join the hundreds other as they celebrate the festival of Navratri/Garba. There will be a DJ/Orchestra at the venue and music will be played at all times. Delicious Indian food will also be served.

Dandiya sticks will be sold at the event for a nominal price.

Non-USC students and guests will be charged $10 for entry. This includes food.

USC Students: Please do not forget to bring your USC ICard. You will be charged as Non USC students if we are unable to verify your USC student status.

Please make arrangements to arrive early. Entry will be closed once the maximum capacity of the venue is reached. Food will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. We are expecting over 700 attendees.

AIS Membership Information:

We will be holding AIS membership sessions at the USC University Park campus on fixed days before the event where any USC student can become an AIS member. This is to make it convenient for people who do not wish to stand in line to become an AIS member on the day of the event. Please check our website for further details and timings.

We will also be keeping a membership table for accepting on-the-spot registrations during the event. AIS membership costs $10 and all AIS members are automatically granted free access to most of the events held by AIS throughout the year.
